SajHome Stay was the best decision we made in our fabulous holiday to Kerala. We arrived at 2.00am and there was Saj himself, waiting, so warm and welcoming. Throughout our week's stay at this clean and comfy home, Saj was attentive, friendly, helpful, generous with tips, advice and suggestions. He booked us our amazing trip to Alleppey and the houseboat. And the breakfasts his talented wife cooked... Keralan cuisine at its best! Every breakfast was different - Pathiri, Thosai, Appam accompanied by a large plateful of tropical fruit. We couldn't wait to come down in the mornings! We must say that Saj is not just a friendly face, he sits with you and shares his stories, experiences and philosophies of life. But what comes across most clearly is his passion for his work... you can feel his heart, soul and pride in his homestay... and that is the difference! Thank you once again, Saj. He gave us a great orientation with a map as soon as we arrived, so we were all set. He regularly checked up on us to make sure we were doing okay. It's central to everything (restaurants, attractions etc) and still distanced enough that it's peaceful. The rooms and home are immaculately clean and well furnished, and serviced at your request. Saj, his family and staff went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming and comfortable. The daily breakfast was delicious a blend of western and local (at your request) Speaking of going above and beyond Saj had a very early takeaway breakfast prepared for us for a motorbike day trip to Munnar. IT WAS THE SWEETEST. We were also invited to celebrate a wedding of his friends son, where we were grated warmly and spent the afternoon enjoying traditional festivities.
